Companies and things I've built
Two companies I co-founded, and the things I've built on my own since. Most of those started as a fix for something in my own life, and you can use, try or install them. The automations I've built for companies live on Work.

What started as a t-shirt company became a mindfulness community after the Holstee Manifesto went viral in 2011. We grew Holstee Membership across 60+ countries, with partners like Johnson & Johnson and UC Berkeley. I came back in 2026 for a run of AI and automation sprints.
A digital journal I co-founded in 2018, built around guided weekly reflection. People have written more than 700,000 entries in it to date.

A kid-friendly companion to DK's Timelines of Everything. Each of the book's 149 spreads is a stop on a colored train line, with one short video, when it happened, and a few Did you know? facts. It opens straight to the next stop, plays one video a day, and keeps YouTube's recommendations out of the way.

A Claude Code skill. Claude and ChatGPT each review the draft on their own, then debate each other's edits for up to three rounds. I get back the edits they agree on, plus the calls that are still mine to make.
How it works

One tap on a home screen Shortcut places the call through a recording number, while the other person still sees my cell. Each side is recorded on its own track, so a few minutes after I hang up the transcript lands in Obsidian with each of us labeled. About 70 cents for a thirty minute call.
A tiny app that picks a mobility routine for me. It opens to a single 5 to 16 minute video, energizing before 6 pm and wind-down after, with a thumbs up or down to tune the list and a row of dots for the days I've stretched this week.
App · Retired · August 2026
Staff take a photo at the counter and the app drafts the title, description, condition and price, then the item shows up in the shop's own searchable storefront until it sells. I took it from idea to pilot-ready, then stopped and wrote up why.
App · Live · February 2026
Describe an idea and get the competitive landscape, how saturated the space is, and a build-ready prompt to start from.
